Seattle Greg

Greg McAllister AKA Seattle Greg was part of a group of indoor cannabis growers in Seattle Washington that created the Northern Lights strains. Greg started breeding cannabis in Seattle

in the 1970s. Greg acquired four cannabis seeds

from an old high school friend Steve Murphy around 1979. An Afghan variety that he referred

to as the "Purest Indica". There were 11 different strains of Northern Lights. #1 being mostly "Indica" as the numbers went up the strains became more "Sativa".

founded by Nevil Schoenmakers. The Northern Lights seeds that Greg sent to Nevil would become the legendary collection of various crosses that Greg collected from his group of friends over the years that they had been breeding and sharing. Seattle Greg gives Nevil Schoenmakers credit for spreading the Northern

Lights genetics throughout the world.
