Vintage High Times Magazine original promotional 4-page fold-out flyer, this pre-publication flyer was supposed to be used at the National Fashon and Boutique Shows in New York city to raise interest, attract advertisers and sign-up readers for Tom Forcade and Tim Hughes new marijuana counterculture magazine. This is not true; the magazine was solely being funded by their illegal marijuana smuggling business. The flyer was created as a decoy to help justify the huge amount of money they were putting into their new magazine.  

                     

Publishers note was Thomas King Forcade's idea; it was to address the concerns of their customers being on High Times mailing list, this is a glimpse into his solution to ease their fears. He offered security of names by keeping this information in wax sealed envelopes and held in the safe of a lawyer known only to Thomas King Forcade and Timothy Lloyd Hughes the founders.
